Six months or after the release of his excellent fi fth volume of Beethoven piano sonatas, Hungarian-British pianist Andras Schiff tackles a sixth instalment, with music spanning 1804 to 1810 including the famous Appassionata (No. 23 Opus 57) and the equally highly regarded Les Adieux (No. 26 Opus 81a).
